Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15th in 1961) was an American actress. In the film and television industry, she is known for her numerous awards and nominations. Bassett is a native of New York New York and raised by an aunt in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett was able to move with her younger older sister St. Petersburg Florida at five years old in order to be closer to their mother and father, who had separated from their dad. When she was in high school Bassett was a spectator of John Steinbeck's play Of Mice and Men starring James Earl Jones and decided she would like to be an actor. When she graduated of Yale University New Haven Connecticut in 1980 with an undergraduate degree with a major in African American Studies, she continued to pursue a Master's Degree (1983) at the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance met her at Yale and, in 1997 they got married. Qualification: B.A. degree in African-American studies, 1980. Masters in Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama School: Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (seventh grade) Azalea Middle School (eighth and ninth grades) Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett has been cast as one of the main roles of Ramonda for the action adventure movie, i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
